Smaller creatures will flee from danger, predators hunt their prey, and certain areas of the island become more dangerous to explore. But the environment does not remain unchanged. As conditions deteriorate, wildlife behavior begins to shift in unexpected ways. Familiar patterns break down, and the island can become far less predictable.
